Do you work or volunteer in healthcare, long-term care, spiritual care, or private care facilities?
Do you have a loved one who has been recently diagnosed with a life-limiting condition?
Ever find yourself in a powerful listening moment and just have no idea where to go next, what to say, or how to help? Join the club.
If you answered yes to any of these questions…this workshop is for YOU!
Talking with people who are in the midst of chronic illness, disease, dying and grief can be a challenge, even for veteran listeners. Sometimes they are silent and unreachable, other times enraged and overwhelmed, or else, defended and pretending to be “okay.”
We are looking forward to welcoming Roy Ellis who will facilitate a day-long workshop to speak on topics such as talking and listening to people during chronic illness, disease, dying, and grief.
The day will be filled with conversation and learning. Roy brings over 30 years of experience working in frontline environments where loss and trauma are experienced every day. https://www.royfellis.com/about
