HELP US REACH OUR $20,000 GOAL!
UPDATE – MAY 21, 2021
Thank you to everyone who has participated and donated to our Hike & Bike for Hospice campaign so far this year! We have some new faces participating this year as well as some familiar faces from last year who we are so excited to have back. Thank you all so much for all you have accomplished so far!
Now for some exciting news…. with a recent opportunity to participate in CanadaHelp’s Great Canadian Giving Challenge, we are extending our Hike and Bike campaign for two more weeks! For the Great Canadian Giving Challenge, from June 1st to June 30th every dollar donated to our CanadaHelps fundraising page is one entry for us to win $20,000! This includes all donations made in June to our Hike & Bike fundraising pages. The more money we raise within the month of June, the greater our chance to win $20,000! We are taking this opportunity to maximize your donation by extending our Hike for two more weeks so that you can support Hospice PEI through our Hike and Bike campaign and also help us win $20,000!

Why Your Participation Matters
Hospice PEI is 100% non-profit – we rely solely on the generosity of others to ensure Islanders and their loved ones are supported during and after death. Every dollar raised or donated stays in our community and makes a significant impact to the residents of Prince Edward Island. Funds received go towards providing programs and services at Hospice PEI which include such things as bereavement services, volunteer support, and education.

5-year-old Lucy biked 5KM last year with a starting goal of raising $21 for Hospice PEI, by the time her bike ride rolled around in June, Lucy had raised over $250 thanks to her sponsors!
Last year, Leanne asked her friends and family to support her Hike & Bike for Hospice campaign. Leanne walked 5KM each day and dedicated each walk to the memory of one of her donor’s loved ones. Leanne even carried a photo with her of the person she was walking in memory of.
One of our cherished volunteers, Helen, walked every day and tracked the distance she would walk. At the end of the campaign, she added up her walking distance and made a donation of $4 per km. Helen ended up donating over $200 to our Hike & Bike for Hospice campaign this way!
