With a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Education, he works in a quality control chemistry lab by day and enjoys life in Prince Edward Island with his husband, a golden lab who thinks he’s in charge, and two cats who absolutely are. Over the years, Charlottetown has become more than just where he lives, it’s where he found his artistic voice and community, blending his professional background with his creative passions.

Lucas is a vibrant and expressive spirit who brings passion, creativity, and dedication to everything he takes on. His journey began with a love for dance and expanded in the past years into acting and vocal training, all driven by a lifelong affection for musical theatre. Beyond the stage, Lucas actively gives back to his community volunteering with PEERS Alliance and ACT, lending his voice to the Stratford Choir, and bringing his moves to the Xclusiv Crew.

His decision to dance and fundraise in support of Hospice PEI is deeply rooted in his belief in care, dignity, and compassion, values he carries both on and off stage. Lucas is passionate about using his talents and presence to uplift others and make a meaningful impact. Supporting Hospice allows him to honour those who bring comfort and peace in life’s most vulnerable moments, while expressing himself through the art forms he loves most.

Nicholas Tomasic is an “Islander By Choice” who moved to PEI in 2021 with his partner Jeremy and their posse of pets. After spending 13 years in downtown Toronto, in a high- rise, life in a farmhouse on a 3-acre lot in Morell has been a huge change, one he’s fully embraced. His first summer on the Island was spent on St. Peters Bay, working as a deckhand and harvesting mussels and oysters.

With over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Nick has always had a passion for food and culinary culture. When he moved to PEI, he swapped his blazer and leather shoes for oil gear and rubber gloves and loved every second of it.
Since arriving on the Island, Nick has shared his journey through Instagram, capturing his fresh perspective for life. His social media presence has led to collaborations with PEI Seafood, PEI Potatoes, PEI Lobster, and Fall Flavours, among others.

Currently, Nick manages Abbiocco, an Italian restaurant in Charlottetown, where he focuses on creating exceptional guest experiences. He’s particularly proud of overseeing the restaurant’s cocktail program, having recently earned the title of PEI’s Favourite Cocktail in Deep Roots Distillery’s 2025 Cocktail Showdown.

My fresh start on the Island was a turning point for me. I’ve decided to live life more fully, be authentic, and celebrate the little moments. I’m grateful for the people I’ve met and the opportunities I’ve had.”

Born and raised in the small town of Alberton, Alyssa will be the first star to compete from West Prince, or as islanders call it “Up West.” Alyssa’s biggest passions are dogs, tattoos, fitness, giving hugs, and making others laugh. She has a 3-year-old daughter and is currently planning a wedding with her fiancé, Daniel.

Alyssa has worked in the pet industry for a decade, and her small business, The Spaw, was proudly voted Charlottetown’s favorite dog grooming service in 2024 and 2023! Alyssa’s favorite part of her job is the smiles on her clients’ faces when they pick up their dogs after their transformation at the beauty salon is complete. She has two dogs of her own, a Dalmatian named Milo and a Great Dane named Marble!

This year, Alyssa’s family appeared on national television, where they competed and won 3 back-to-back episodes on Family Feud Canada with host Gerry Dee! CBC said online that their episode will go down as one of the funniest Fast Money rounds of all time.

Outside of work, Alyssa has a big passion for health and fitness. She trains and competes in bikini bodybuilding competitions, where she is a 3x champion in her class. This year, Alyssa was published in Inside Fitness magazine for the annual Canadian Top Hot and Fit 100 issue, Canada’s #1 fitness magazine.

She is very proud to represent her community and is excited to raise money for Hospice PEI and support such an incredible organization! She encourages everyone to follow along her Instagram journey of learning dance because the only dancing she knows how to do is at the restaurant when she sees her server and food coming!

A true Islander at heart, Stephanie is the creative force behind @Theredheadroamer, where she shares her passion for photography and drone piloting, capturing all things local. You’ll often find her exploring the Island, showcasing its beauty, and sharing her adventures around the globe. But no matter where her travels take her, nothing beats coming back home to the Island she loves.

Right now, she’s on an exciting new journey as a mom to her 10-month-old daughter, and she’s cherishing every moment of experiencing her favorite things through her baby’s eyes. She’s also learning to appreciate the slower pace of life that motherhood brings.

When she’s not out adventuring, Stephanie is hard at work as a registered nurse, where she’s seen firsthand the impact of the important work done by Hospice PEI. She’s thrilled to be raising funds for this cause and spreading awareness about their services to Islanders who need them.
