Once you or your loved one has received a life limiting diagnosis or you are looking for help when you are grieving the loss of a person.
Anyone can make a referral for hospice support. You can refer for hospice support by contacting one of our three coordinators. You can also discuss our services with your healthcare team and/or your homecare team who will help make the referral.
If you are on end-of-life journey, have a palliative and or life limiting diagnosis.

No. Hospice PEI has no religious association, but we do respect and honour the beliefs of those we serve.
Hospice PEI’s services and programs are free to Islanders thanks to generous donors and sponsors.

To become a Hospice PEI individuals must complete our Hospice PEI Volunteer Training Program as well as participate in an individual interview with a regional Coordinator. Click here to learn more about becoming a volunteer.

It is a fundraiser held on behalf of Hospice PEI but organized and run independently by individuals or groups.
Funds received go towards providing programs and services at Hospice PEI. These include such things as staff support through hospice coordinators who receive and assess referrals, match volunteers to care recipients and caregivers needs, other hospice support services, peer to peer grief support, volunteer training and mentoring, and education on end of life preparedness such as Advanced Care Planning presentations to the public.
We want to make sure your event is a success and will do what we can to assist you within the limits of our resources. We can provide you with information about Hospice PEI, approve the use of our logo and name on your promotional materials, and assist you with tax receipting information. We encourage you to contact us early in your planning process to discuss your event and how we can help.
