Volunteer Support Services
Hospice PEI volunteers provide companionship and comfort to Islanders with a life-limiting or palliative diagnosis, while providing respite for their caregivers and loved ones. Our highly-trained volunteers are carefully matched with clients and their families based on the client’s and their families needs and our resources. Our volunteers are available for clients who are living at home, in long term care, in hospitals, or in palliative care settings. All Hospice PEI services are provided free of charge.
Examples of Volunteer Support Services include:
- Listening and conversing
