Doug Geldert

Doug Geldert has worked in the financial services industry for almost 30 years. He has worked for Provincial Credit Union for the past 9 years in various positions and is currently the Director, Retail Services. As an employee of the Credit Union system Doug knows the importance of community and supporting local organizations. He has volunteered with several organizations over the years and has been a board member with various other groups.

Doug has a strong family connection to Hospice PEI and has seen and experienced the great work performed by the staff and volunteers including that of his father, Angus Geldert who was a dedicated volunteer and tireless supporter of the “Let Their Light Shine” fundraising event every year during the Christmas Season. Doug is very proud to be a part of this great organization and also very proud to have the large Christmas Tree named “The Geldert Tree” in memory and recognition of his father’s work with Hospice PEI.
