Siri Jackson-Wood

Siri Jackson-Wood, a resident of St Peter’s Bay, lives with her partner Paul and two daughters; her daughter Jodhi works in the mental health field, and her daughter Leah is preparing to study oceanography. Siri’s mother also lives with her family and adds a lively spark of Norwegian heritage to each and every day.

Siri has been volunteering on Boards for the past 15 years, mostly in the Cooperative sector, both provincially and federally. She is most attracted to the learning aspect of volunteer work. Each Director placement she has held has opened doors to areas she may not have had the opportunity to experience, nor individuals she has had the great pleasure of meeting and working with. Siri believes her greatest lesson has been to remain teachable. Hospice PEI is an organization she looks forward to learning about, sharing her knowledge with, ideally resulting in growth for both herself and Hospice PEI.
